My daughter, Leah, began attending Learn 'N' Play when she was 19 months old. She loved it immediately, and I was amazed at how quickly she got into the routine of her day there. Her teachers were warm and caring, and they quickly demonstrated that they appreciated my daughter as an individual, not just another charge in their care. Leah learned new songs and games, how to follow instructions, and to play well with others. She also became a much better napper! Her days were busy and fun, and I knew she was safe and well cared for. We were very sad to leave when we moved out of the city!

My daughter has attended Learn N Play on and off over the past two years and I just can't say how happy we have been there, hence why we keep going back. Mary and Annie, the two main directors, are FABULOUS with the kids and love them dearly. They are very tender, understanding, caring, and loving towards them all and instill great values in the children. Their discipline is very simple with time-outs, talking about the wrong behavior, and ending with a snuggle so the child still feels loved. They have a very structure day with circle time, arts/crafts time, free play, homemade lunches and snacks, nap time, and they practice writing letters/numbers/shapes. When the weather is nice they take them to the park to play in the mornings; there is at least one big fieldtrip a year; and once a week an outside teacher comes in to teach them dance. Not once has my daughter not wanted to go their and to me that speaks a lot. We have been very pleased and highly recommend them to anyone in this neighborhood.

“I second the recommendation!"

They rock!

Dax has been there for nearly a year and has flourished so much, it's incredible!

Loving, caring and all around wonderful.

The kids have plenty of free play time as well as structured time where they'll learn the days of the week, months, shapes, numbers, letters etc.

Can't say enough nice things about them.

Riverside Learn-N-Play. She just got into a school program, but we were planning on keeping her there until she turned 4. I can't recommend them enough; please call them at 212-569-9292 if you are seeking full or part time day care for your child. They have a couple openings right now, but it's filling up fast for the fall!

Our son adored Annie, Mary, and Nielly and had a very happy and loving three-year experience at the Riverside Learn & Play. We always felt confident that Alex was safe. He also learned numbers, letters, and other things appropriate to his age & stage. What a wonderful school - we highly recommend Learn & Play!

I have two girls, with the oldest being six and youngest 4. We've been going to Learn n Play since the 6 yr old was 18 months. Its now 2014, and we still love them over at Learn n Play. My four year old started at 2. The owners, as well as the teachers there are absolutely wonderful. Once my 6 yr old entered Pre K, she was already advanced. The knowledge and attention that your child will receive at Learn n Play is priceless. Well worth it. Thanks guys! Kelvin - Gabriela and Camilas dad
